Fabric_description Clay pale buff.
Munsell_color
Decoration Outer rim has round pattern. Beneath each handle, palmette with side tendrils. A: Woman's head in hankerchief with hair out the back. B: Woman's head uncovered. Around foot is a broad black band then a reserved zone with a thin black band in the middle. Base is black and depressed in centre.
Inscriptions
Condition One handle missing. Heavy deposits inside holding jug which appears to be intact. Paint in good condition.

Provenance Allegedly found in field near Bletchley
